To my surprise, Commodore kept selling typewriters right into the 1980s. And like most of their other typewriters
from the 60s, this was an OEM product from some Japanese company.
This is the SQ-1000 portable electric typewriter. There is also a SQ-2000, though I'm not sure what the differences are. This unit has a cool handle to carry it around with, and the cables fit nearly into a snap-closeable door in the back.
