Big and sturdy, noisy and cruel. This best describes these PET computer scribing
machines. They all sported an IEEE port. A bus as versatile as any SCSI chain, it
seems. They are all also dot matrix printers, which was a rather
expensive technology early on. The following printers are part of the
Commodore 20XX line, denoting their being intended for the Commodore
PET 2001 series computers. Since the original 2001 did not have
a ROM which properly used the IEEE-488 bus, these probably arrived with
the PET 2001N and 2001B variations.
