Commodore A1060 Sidecar

cbm/reus/a1060.gif
By 1986, the IBM PC had taken the business market by storm, and Commodore had officially given up on their own proprietary business computers. To make the Amiga 1000 relevant for business applications, therefore, the A1060 sidecar was developed. It included a built in IBM PC motherboard that interacted with the Amiga 1000 through the expansion slot. It has 3 ISA slots, and a built-in 5.25" floppy disk drive. This was all driven by a 4.7mhz 8088 with 256k memory.
